Spark Post is an email delivery service used by some of the biggest names on the Internet. It provides real-time analytics on your emails, 98% deliverability, and super fast delivery.
Before beginning with this configuration you'll need to create a Spark Post account and generate an API key which has SMTP sending permissions!
To configure Cachet with Spark Post, you need to update your
.env file to include the following:
MAIL_DRIVER=smtp MAIL_HOST=smtp.sparkpostmail.com MAIL_PORT=587 MAIL_USERNAME=SMTP_Injection MAIL_PASSWORD=YOUR_API_TOKEN MAIL_ADDRESSfirstname.lastname@example.org MAIL_NAME="My Cachet Page" MAIL_ENCRYPTION=tls
After you've made your changes, we need to cache the configuration files.
$ php artisan config:cache # It's also possible that you'll need to run the following: $ rm -rf bootstrap/cache/*
Your Cachet page is now configured to send mail from Spark Post!
